Abstract

Contemporary linguistic studies adopt a conciliatory approach based on a scientific appreciation of the Arabic linguistic heritage, avoiding the extremes of outright rejection or uncritical admiration. Through this approach, they seek to develop integrative frameworks that bridge the methodologies and conceptual systems of classical linguistic scholarship with the analytical tools of modern linguistics, aiming to create a more comprehensive and precise methodological paradigm. This orientation is rooted in a firm belief in the importance of this heritage, which constitutes a fundamental axis of research, undertaken through multifaceted efforts including the collection of linguistic material, the verification of manuscripts, and their analytical study and interpretation. The Arabic linguistic heritage derives its significance from containing profound and early insights into many essential linguistic issues, to which Western linguistics did not awaken until the modern era. Furthermore, this perspective affirms that each language possesses its own unique syntactic and rule-based system, stemming from the distinct fabric and internal structure of the language
