This study aimed to examine the reality of artificial intelligence utilization in teaching among teachers as a descriptive study that seeks to analyze the actual level of AI applications usage within the educational environment, and to identify the main applications used as well as the challenges facing teachers in employing them. The study adopted the descriptive method based on the analysis of relevant Arabic and international literature and previous studies in order to build an accurate scientific understanding of the phenomenon.
The findings revealed that the level of artificial intelligence utilization in teaching among teachers was moderate, with limited actual use compared to the vast potential offered by these technologies in improving the educational process. The results also showed that the main AI applications include intelligent learning systems, virtual assistants, and educational data analysis tools, while the main challenges were weak digital infrastructure, lack of training, insufficient technical support, and the absence of clear regulatory policies.
The study concluded that there is a clear gap between the theoretical potential of artificial intelligence in education and its actual implementation in teaching practices, which calls for enhancing training programs, developing infrastructure, and activating supportive policies for effective and sustainable integration.
