Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of Total Quality Management on employees’ job performance at Al-Qardha Rural Hospital and Mahrouqa Health Center in the Wadi Al-Shati region, focusing on two dimensions: continuous improvement and management support, and employee participation and focus on work quality. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the main instrument for collecting data and analyzing the relationships and effects among the study variables. The statistical results revealed a statistically significant effect of Total Quality Management on employees’ job performance. The findings also demonstrated a positive and statistically significant effect of continuous improvement and management support, as well as employee participation and focus on work quality, on job performance. Regression analysis indicated that employee participation and focus on work quality was the most influential dimension, explaining 61.8% of the variance in job performance, compared with 55.1% explained by continuous improvement and management support. The study recommends strengthening Total Quality Management practices and enhancing employee participation in work development and quality improvement.
