The Extent of Interest Shown by Middle School Students and School Administration in School Sports in The Municipality of Al-Sawani Bin Adam

This research aims to identify the extent of student and school administration interest in school sports in the municipality of Al-Sawani Bin Adam. The descriptive approach was used as it is suitable for the nature of the research. The research population consisted of middle school students in the municipality of Al-Sawani Bin Adam, totaling (2611) male and female students. The research sample included (130) male and female students selected randomly, and a pilot study was conducted with (10) students. The researcher used a questionnaire as the data collection tool. The research concluded with the following results:
1- The absence of a specific and clear strategy for determining school sports programs.
2- School sports are still far from achieving the desired goals related to team formation and competition.
3- A lack of resources necessary to hold sports festivals within the school.
4- Insufficient time allocated for school sports.
