Abstract

Educational services are among the important services that the state seeks to provide, as they contribute significantly to serving all members of society through its educational institutions. The topic of educational services for basic education in the Al-Asabaa region was selected to study and analyze the geographical distribution of schools and assess the efficiency of this service in order to identify its shortcomings. The study relied on descriptive and regional analytical approaches, as well as the quantitative approach, using statistical methods, mathematical equations, and the Spss 25program.

The results of the study revealed a clear disparity in the distribution of basic education institutions in the Al-Asabaa region, with approximately 71.1% of the total institutions concentrated in three localities, while other localities suffered from a shortage in the number of these institutions. The study also showed that the average number of students served by schools was higher than the general average 1950 people per school. The study highlighted the need to establish additional schools and reducing classroom density within schools.
