This study is primarily concerned with examining the impact of changes in the international system on the foreign policy of Arab states, focusing mainly on addressing the nature of these changes and their various dimensions, while applying the impact of these changes to some important issues of foreign policy of Arab states, such as Egypt’s relationship with Libya.
The study concluded that there is a militia crisis that all authorities that have ruled Libya have been unable to deal with. There is global interest in what is happening in western Libya due to its proximity to Europe, an interest that became evident after the militias seized control of Tripoli airport.
The study recommended the importance of focusing on attracting foreign investment and developing trade cooperation with other countries, i.e., developing national security strategies along with setting comprehensive policies to confront security threats and terrorism, including regional and international cooperation
